Our four-day honeymoon at Anona Sunset Boutique Hotel was lovely. Both room types we tried, the Terrace Ocean View Jacuzzi Room and the Deluxe Ocean View Jacuzzi Room, were spotless, well equipped, and had beautiful ocean views. Each had a clean, relaxing jacuzzi. The hotel and our rooms had breathtaking views, and the room decoration was a lovely touch that made us feel welcome. Cape Rock Restaurant had an enjoyable breakfast buffet, with good non-vegetarian choices and a decent selection of vegetarian food. Everyone on staff was polite, friendly, and very accommodating. Special thanks to Bilkin and Kelly at reception for being so warm and kind. On our last day, Bilkin surprised us with complimentary couple bracelets, a thoughtful gift we’ll always cherish. We couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon. It was a great blend of comfort, luxury, heartfelt service, and unforgettable views. A solid 5/5, and we’d highly recommend it.

It’s a quiet, relaxing, luxurious stay, though on the pricey side. The rooms and amenities are modern and new. We tried two types: the Grand Executive Oceanfront was amazing, very spacious, with a bathtub for two and beautiful ocean views day and night. I believe there’s only one room of that type, which may explain the higher price. The Deluxe Jacuzzi Ocean View was more standard. Its jacuzzi was great, but the ocean view wasn’t very impressive. The pool is great, and the restaurant has a lovely view, though it’s pricey. Breakfast was average for this kind of hotel. The hotel sits on a cliff, and although facilities are nearby, the paths are quite steep. A 24-hour buggy service is available. The nearest beach isn’t walkable, there’s no direct beach access, so you’ll need Grab or a bike.

We stayed for 5 nights in October and enjoyed it all. The room had everything we needed, and it was nice to walk around the area and enjoy the sunset. The staff were super helpful. I can’t remember the bellboy’s name, but he showed us around and explained the facilities at check-in. He was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Booking breakfast with the room was a great choice. It was delicious, and there was something new to try each day over the five days.

That balcony bathtub had such romantic vibes, and the sea view and sunset from my room were stunning. I loved the welcome Thai-style ice cream after check-in, it was so refreshing. The turn-down service was cute too, and you can tell they pay attention to the little details. The restaurant view is incredible as well. I had an amazing stay and absolutely loved it. Highly recommend, can’t wait to come back!

The cliffside setting was lovely, and our Jacuzzi room had a beautiful view of the ocean. Nights were quiet, and the room came with plenty of useful extras, including different kinds of alcohol, ice buckets, and cocktail makers. The service was the letdown. We had unpleasant encounters with a bar staff member and someone in the restaurant, and staff didn’t seem as helpful or kind as at other hotels we’ve stayed at in Phuket and Thailand. Paying 90 Baht for ice was unexpected at over A$500 a night. The restaurant view is amazing, but the food wasn’t great. English communication and customer relations could use more training. Great location, but there’s room to improve.
