Da Bungalows

Siri was very helpful while we were there. We stayed in a Deluxe sea view room, which was nice and had a stunning view of the sea. Hope to return.

We traveled as a family of three and had enough room to be comfortable. The room at Da Bunglows Kata Hotel was clean, and the towels were changed daily, a nice touch. The hotel isn't disabled-friendly because the path to the room has steep steps. Ours was near the main road at the front, but closing the door kept the traffic noise from being a problem. Kata Beach is just a short walk away. There’s no breakfast, which was a bit disappointing, though there are lots of nearby places to try. The restaurant downstairs serves good food, but the prices are on the high side, understandable given it caters to tourists. We loved our stay and would happily come back.

Kata Beach was only a 5-minute walk, and Kata noi beach took about 15 minutes. We liked the latter better because there weren't so many people there. The night market was around a 20-minute walk, so the accommodation was well placed. The room wasn't the best, but we still had a sea view and a private balcony where we could sit outside. It was very clean, had everything we needed, and the air conditioning worked well. Fresh drinking water and beach towels were provided each day, which was really nice. Sadly, we forgot our rechargeable charger for the electric toothbrush.

This family-owned hotel has panoramic views of the Beach and kind staff. The Smart Bus is a ten-minute walk away, and Mr. Da, the legend himself, keeps the facilities well maintained.
