Hi Karon Beach Hotel

The location was a real plus: the beach is two minutes away, there's a 7/11 around the corner, taxis are easy to find, and bike rentals nearby make it simple to get around. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. Pascal was especially warm and polite, always ready to help with a genuine smile. Our stay at Hi Karon Hotel in Phuket felt like being at home. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again. The hospitality, food, and location are all fantastic. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Phuket.

We dropped in for breakfast almost by accident and ended up having a really special morning. The room felt stylish, cosy, and calm. We arrived a little late and were the only guests, but the hosts made us feel welcome straight away. The food was amazing. We had perfectly cooked scrambled eggs, homemade pastries, pancakes and crêpes with delicious berry jam, fresh mango, plus beautiful pastel de nata and apple pastry. One of the hosts is a chef, and you can taste the care and skill in the homemade food. It felt personal and warm, like a place run by people who love what they do. A true hidden gem for breakfast, pastries, and a cosy atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

After a terribly exhausting flight, I arrived to find the hotel wouldn't accommodate me because of a water supply breakdown. The owner hadn't bothered to notify me, not even with a message on the booking site, so I had wasted time and energy getting there. After a dry apology, he seemed eager to get rid of me as quickly as possible. While I waited in the lobby, another employee told me the problem had been almost completely fixed. The owner came back a few minutes later and still said he wouldn't check me in because he "couldn't guarantee anything." This was a disgusting way to treat someone after causing such a huge inconvenience without even letting them know check-in wasn't possible. Disgusting.

The cappuccino costs extra, but it didn't resemble a cappuccino at all, so we definitely don't recommend it. The small tables also barely had room for all the plates. Breakfast came quickly, and some things, including the eggs, were cooked fresh. Most of the food was very sweet, with fruit, juice, jam, crêpes, and other items, and it was ultimately too sweet for us.
