Karon Hotel at 22

The beach is an easy 10-15 minute walk from this calm neighborhood, and I found the hotel clean and welcoming. Staff were cheerful and attentive. Just keep food and sweat off the tables, as little red ants show up quickly. Putting things in the refrigerator helps. I spent happy moments on the balcony in the sunshine, looking out at the mountains. My room was spacious, bright and looked like the photos. The hotel is new, and CB, the owner, was quick and friendly when I contacted him. I was a little hesitant booking without recommendations, but I'm glad I chose it. I've enjoyed my stay and appreciate how much the team cares about guests' comfort.

The bed was the main drawback for me, since the mattress felt too hard. Otherwise, I liked the quiet Karon location and the friendly woman at reception. The room had a balcony, a good-sized fridge, a small open kitchen and a compact but functional new bathroom. There was also a smart TV with Chromecast, and cleaning happened every two days. Good information, too. I think Karon Hotel @22 opened in 2024, and the beach is a 10-minute walk away.

For the price, I was happy with the accommodation, even though I stayed just one night. The room was fairly large and spotless, and while it's a little away from the busy main streets, restaurants and shops are still walkable. The beach took around 12 minutes on foot. The owner or manager was very responsive on WhatsApp.

I liked how clean the hotel was, with plenty of parking for cars and motorbikes. There's a big garden, and it's relaxing being near Karon temple. Shops and places to eat are around, and the beach is walkable.
