I only visited the bar, which seems popular with tourists. Sitting there to watch people and traffic on the street was nice, and the service was okay apart from one woman hovering around and wanting someone to buy her a drink. The music was so loud I couldn’t have a conversation with the person next to me. I paid and went looking for somewhere my eardrums could recover.

The prices are reasonable and the service is okay, though a little slow. Food quality is hard to judge because it varies so much: one day the meals were really delicious, and even came with the included bottle of water. The next day, the food was boring and tasteless, and the water was missing. It wasn’t bad, but nowhere near what we’d had there the day before. Consistency matters for a good rating. After my first visit I would’ve given it four stars, but now it’s only three for me.

They serve food late, which is why I tried this place first. The meal was okay, nothing amazing. If you go, I’d pick a soup. Prices are average tourist level, probably because it’s in a good location next to 7-11. The service wasn’t especially friendly, though we were a couple who didn’t want to drink. It looks like a fun place for drinks if you’re up for buying for the local girls. When I came back for a second meal, I got two days of food poisoning. The rice tasted like day two fridge rice, with a little ant on top. The pork larb moo was lukewarm and so salty I couldn’t physically eat it. I tried covering it with chilli and lime, but it was still just awful. I paid and left, wishing I hadn’t taken a third bite. I had tap arse and bad cramps for the next 48 hours.

Maybe the bar and drinks are okay, but don’t eat here. The mussels with cheese were very old and unpleasant, and the chicken wings were only just below average, though edible. My bigburger was awful, not one part of it was okay. I’m a big eater who usually finishes everything, but I couldn’t finish this. My wife ate her stir fried noodle with chicken and got so sick all night that we nearly had to go to hospital. We’d ordered the mussels and wings as appetizers, and those two dishes as our food. Stay away.
