Worst stay ever. Cheaters! If I could give less than zero, I would. I booked a few nights before Christmas. The “manager” said my room wasn’t available, then told me it would be ready the next day. I’d asked several times the day before whether she was sure, and she kept saying, “no worries madam.” At 7 pm the next day, she told me again the room wasn’t available. She lied and didn’t care where I’d end up that night. Never book with these people. She’ll smile at you while lying. Hypocrites!

It’s a good place for the price, with a clean room close to the beach and Kata Center. My room had a fridge, stove, kettle, and microwave. The stove wasn’t working, but they offered to replace it a few hours later. Whenever I had a problem, they answered my WhatsApp messages. I liked my stay here.

The kitchen was far from my room, and the supplies were lacking. I had to buy a fry pan, a stewpan, knives, and plates, since they only had two plastic ones. The refrigerator was just a small minibar, so I had to shop at the supermarket every day. Even worse, the AC condenser was installed inside the kitchen, blowing hot air in there. Every time I needed to go in, I had to turn it off. I wouldn’t return. The money situation was frustrating too. When I checked the price, the girl told me it was 12.000 Bath for a month, plus a 3.000 security deposit. The next day I checked in and paid 15.000. At checkout I asked for the 3.000 back. She spoke with the Owner, who lives on the top floor, then said he wanted to talk to me. He told me the price had been 15.000 from the start and that there’d been a misunderstanding between them. I lost the 3.000 Bath, though their mix-up wasn’t my responsibility. I have a hotel too, and I always welcome guests myself. If that’s not possible, I’d hire a receptionist instead of sending the cleaning lady to do it. The Owner seemed too busy in his Room to receive guests.

People are reviewing these rooms as if they paid 500 dollars a night. Mine cost literally 17 dollars a night, the air conditioning works, and the location is pretty good. The bad reviews don’t make sense to me. There’s literally no reason to complain when you didn’t pay for the Ritz Carlton.
