Light sleepers, beware. The rooms face the main road, and the windows did nothing to block the sound of scooters and cars going uphill. It felt like sleeping right beside the road.

It’s a budget place but still quite comfortable, with spacious, clean rooms. There’s air conditioning, a kettle, safe, and fridge, so everything you need is there. It’s somewhat far from the beach, though having a bike makes that manageable. Lots of cafés, shops, and massage parlors are nearby.

The room is clean and roomy, with a queen-size bed and a safe, and they provide a beach towel too. The owner is nice, though his English could be better. There’s some street noise, and the beach is a bit of a walk, around 15 minutes.

A comfortable room at a good price in central Karon. It’s a pleasant family guesthouse, with cozy, bright, clean rooms. I did notice a slightly odd, old smell, but it didn’t matter much to me.

The owners are so kind and nice, and the place was clean. I’ve stayed at four-star resorts before coming here, and this was far better than those. Even five stars doesn’t feel like enough.
