Paradox Residence

Having breakfast on the large terrace with those sea views was a highlight. The recently renovated apartment is tastefully furnished, and being part of Paradox 5-star resort meant we could use its excellent facilities. The owner was attentive and made sure we were comfortable. It's right on Karon Beach, with an infinity pool and stunning views of the sea. We had an incredible stay, and I'd happily return for another memorable beach getaway.

The location made it easy to enjoy Phuket. The beach is just across the road, and there are plenty of places to eat along the stretch, including local restaurants and a pub with live music. Karon still has a lively night scene, but it isn't as noisy or party-focused as Patong. There's a good range of beach activities, from volleyball to parasailing and float boats. Tuk Tuks and taxis are nearby, and can be 60-100 baht cheaper than Grab. Shops have souvenirs too, though I'd personally walk to Kata for more choice. Most places prefer cash; Visa and MasterCard are accepted, usually with a 3% extra charge, or sometimes up to 5% if a shop uses another shop's card reader. We stayed three nights and found the unit spacious, clean, well kept, and equipped with the basic amenities. The property felt secure and safe. It was private in the way we like, while still giving easy access to the fun around Phuket. Thanks to Marcus for kindly helping with transport to and from the airport.

Everything felt fresh, and all the amenities were there. The hotel gym worked well, and the location was great, just across the road from the beach.

The apartment was lovely, and I had a great stay with my wife. The swimming pool was big and nice. Cross the street and you're right at Karon beach.
