The staff are the best, and the rooms have air conditioning and lockers. There’s Wi-Fi, laundry, and massage, with shops, a 7-Eleven, and a pharmacy right in front. Lots of restaurants are nearby, and it’s a 10-minute walk to the beach. They serve meals at good prices, including vegetarian options. Parking is available, but there’s no wheelchair access.

The manager was extremely kind, and I liked the soap and towels. Private rooms have balconies, the price is good, and the beach isn’t far. Still, the room got hot very quickly, the sheets had holes and marks, and the safe didn’t work. There’s no lift, and the place is above a shop. The rooms also look quite different from the photos. It’s fine if you just need somewhere to sleep, but don’t expect luxury. The owner was lovely, though I don’t think we’d stay again.

The bar and restaurant downstairs made it easy to meet other travelers, and the staff were always welcoming and glad to share tips on food and things to do nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It’s a short walk to the beach, and I loved staying here. A relaxed place with a friendly feel.

I booked seven nights, but managed to stay only one because the room was horrible. There was sand on the floor and beds, and some mattresses were lying straight on the floor without bed frames. The bathroom was disgusting, with a dirty sink and urine on the toilet. We were the only guests in the room, so it seemed they hadn’t cleaned after the previous people left and had simply let us in. I absolutely don’t recommend it.

I’m having a great stay at Kata Poshtel and still enjoying it. The boss is caring and makes sure guests feel welcome, and the staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help. Cheers, I’ll definitely come back!
