Sue at Cozy Guesthouse

The people are nice and the location is good. Nights are noisy because of the night markets, and the beds are hard as a rock.

We had an enjoyable stay at Sues guesthouse. The lady running the place was very helpful and made excellent cocktails. The housekeeper kept the room clean and made the bed. Thank you.

The guesthouse is in an amazing spot, within walking distance of all I needed, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and things to do nearby. I paid about $15 per night and was really impressed. The owners are genuine, friendly, and helpful. They cleaned and restocked my room every day, and did a great job. My room faced the night market, which was nice. A few nights, another guest house played western pop music, but I don't think it went past 11pm. It didn't bother me, though I was up until at least midnight every night. The bed was very firm, which I liked. The air conditioning was great, and the shower had good hot water.

Right in the middle of Kata market, this is a cozy, simple, affordable place, just don't expect a 5 star resort. The room was quiet, spacious, and clean, and the AC worked well. Please remember to turn it off when you leave. It's big enough for a single person or couple, and even 3 people could fit comfortably. The owner, Siphon? sorry may have spelled her name wrong, was wonderful and helpful. She helped me find a motorbike rental place place. There's a bar on the 1st floor, and Siphon makes really good drinks! It's not open 24/7. The front door is locked at night, but you can get keys to let yourself in if you return late. Thank you 🙏
