The SIS Kata Resort — Adult Only

The views around Kata were stunning, and the location made it easy to relax and enjoy the scenery. The facilities were beautifully presented and kept to a high standard. You can tell the team at The SIS Kata takes pride in their work. From the moment we arrived, every staff member was friendly, enthusiastic, and ready to help. The service made the whole stay feel relaxed and welcoming. We had an incredible time, would definitely return, and highly recommend staying here.

The location was handy, with a lovely coffee shop and bakery up the hill and a 7 eleven and massage parlour down it. Kata Night Market was about a 30-minute walk, with cheap food there. We did hear noise from the neighbouring resort, but they kindly moved us when we asked. We stayed for over two weeks, and the resort was clean, beautiful, and brilliant. The infinity pool had a gorgeous view, and we watched a lovely sunset every evening. There’s a swim-up bar with great cocktails, though the regular ones were better than the happy hour drinks. Breakfast was comprehensive, and I loved the fresh juice maker. Our room was really nice, and the bed was big and soft. It was a luxurious, relaxing stay, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The hotel’s location is great, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Check-in was easy, even after our taxi trip from the airport took two hours because of traffic. Charles was genuinely helpful and really nice. We stayed nine nights in room 2203. The room felt modern and comfortable, and the maids cleaned it daily and were friendly and helpful. Sleep was harder because it was noisy. There was often sound from cleaning or setting up the pool around 6:30 or 7 in the morning. A reversing kind of noise went on nearly 24/7. We were told it was a local bird in the trees, which research suggested is considered a pest and doesn’t stop singing during mating season. The lighting could be brighter too, especially in the shower and toilet, where you’d need night vision goggles. Breakfast was included and I’d absolutely recommend it. We had lunch by the pool one day, and it was okay.

The views from up top and by the pool were magical, completely out of this world. Breakfast was so good that we looked forward to it, and the food, facilities, rooms, and staff were all exceptional. We had our best four nights at this beautiful resort. The staff were kind and caring the whole time. Special thanks to Charles at reception, who greeted us with a smile and positive attitude every day, and Yaya from the restaurant. The room had a cool, unique design and all the amenities. 10/10, highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back. Thanks, Team.
