Top floor sea view apartment at Sea & Sky Condo

The rooftop pool is the standout for me. It never got too busy, and you can relax, swim lengths, or sit at the edge while watching postcard-worthy sunsets. Early mornings on the balcony were peaceful too, watching locals get ready for the day. Sea & Sky Cond... is tucked along a quiet residential side street, but close to Karon and Kata beaches and nearby amenities. The apartment is very spacious, with plenty of room in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom/sitting room, and balcony. Even the shower could fit two people, married I hope :-) It was clean and had the necessary starter supplies. Binny, the host, was fantastic, and nearby vendors were friendly and helpful. The gym is okay, with slightly dated but usable machines. It felt secure: the main door stays locked and needs a fob, there’s a security man on watch until late, and parking spaces are available. I booked through Agoda, whose prices were best at the time in April 2024. I’ll definitely return to Phuket and recommend this condominium to anyone staying there. Enjoy...

There’s no laundry room, so you have to go outside to do laundry unless your room has a washing machine. The first-floor pool seemed dirty; the upper one is smaller but better, and the gym looks good. A new place is being built next door. I’ll look into booking there next time, as I’m sure it will have a better sea view.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I want to warn anyone considering a long lease. I stayed in this condo for six months after signing a year-long lease. My landlady was late paying the communal fees, and when that happened, the building owner would disable the communal key. We then had to wait outside for another resident to let us in. On another occasion, with no warning or notice, the owner of S&S shut off the water and put a padlock on the door. It lasted two days, until the bills were paid. Having no water in the peak of hot season was awful. After being locked out of the building again, I decided to leave and accept losing my deposit. I tried using the lower pool during those six months, but found it very dirty and unhygienic. The gym was the same, very outdated and basic. Good luck !!!

There’s an amazing infinity pool on the roof, and the beach is a 10 minute walk away. A 24 hour mini-mart is right across the street.
