Top Villas

We had a lovely family stay here, especially enjoying the amazing views. The walk up the hill was fine and took us away from the busy main street, and there’s a short staircase path down to the beach. We’d definitely come back.

We were on the third floor, so be ready to climb the stairs. The balcony was huge, with a nice view of Kata beach, and the apartment itself had loads of room for all six of us. There’s a dining area, a spacious kitchen and even a small storeroom. The pool seemed quite small compared with hotel pools, and we didn’t see anyone use it during our stay. The villa is right at the top of a hill, which gets pretty steep near the end. In our experience, many taxi drivers didn’t want to come all the way up for pick-up or drop-off, so we usually asked them to stop at Sugar grand. The host was really nice and spoke perfect English. There’s a dog on the property, but she mostly sleeps or lies around and doesn’t bark or move about much.

I enjoyed every moment here. Even the dogs and steep hill felt completely normal and likable to me. The landlord was communicative and flexible. Best place I’ve ever stayed, full five stars without hesitation.

We spent Christmas and New Year here and would definitely return. It’s a beautiful apartment with stunning views, a lovely pool and very helpful hosts. The location is good, and the dogs are friendly. That walk up the hill is worth it, because waking up here feels like being in paradise.
