The best part of Phuket Gay Homestay is the company. You can join in when you feel like it, but there’s no pressure, and I met some lovely gay men from different countries. Ulf also arranged a trip into Patong and showed us Honeymoon restaurant and a few gay bars. The Saturday pool parties were fun too, with good food and around 30 people at each one. I went to two, and by the second I’d completely lost my reservation and was just enjoying myself. This was my second stay, and I had a fantastic time. The five rooms are spacious, comfortable, beautifully furnished, and spotlessly clean. The pool is just steps away, and it’s a lovely place to swim, sunbathe, or relax. The homestay sits in a quiet residential area, with several places to eat within walking distance. Patong’s beaches and nightlife are a short taxi or Grab ride away. After long, noisy nights in Patong’s Paradise Complex, I loved coming back somewhere peaceful, then waking up to a nice breakfast, pool time, and good company. Ulf, Nisit (Boy), and Sai are thoughtful hosts who make guests feel welcome. I’ve got nothing negative to say. It’s a wonderful place, great value, and I can’t wait to come back next year.

The owners gave us great tips during an unforgettable stay, including directions to a secluded beach that’s very gay friendly. They also arranged a massage, one of the best I’ve had in years, and organized a full-day trip to the Pi Pi islands. We had the upstairs room with two twin beds, a private bathroom, and a balcony. Don’t skip breakfast, it was exceptional. Thank you!

I liked having other gay men around to talk with and hear about their experiences, both good and bad. It helped me figure out what to do next on my first month-long trip to Thailand. I met interesting men from all over the world, and after a busy day with lots of tourists, it was nice to come back, strip naked, and jump in the pool. The homestay is inland, about 15-20 minutes from many beaches, so it made a comfortable, safe base while I got to know the country.

The pool was lovely, and we enjoyed spending evenings chatting with the other guests. With only five rooms, the house feels cozy and intimate, and it’s comfortable and pleasant. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We had a perfect stay, highly recommended!

Ulf and Boy made me feel at home, and they were happy to help with restaurant suggestions or booking tours. They also gave me space when I wanted time to myself, which I appreciated. The rooms were a great place to relax, the breakfast was delightful, and the scenery is stunning. Being near Patong made it easy to explore. Phuket Gay Homestay was clean and welcoming, and I had an unforgettable stay. Thanks, Ulf and Boy, for treating me like family!
