A convenient place to stay in Thung Samo, Khao Kho. It’s only 100 meters from the us stop if you’re coming from Bangkok, and there’s a 7-11 right beside the lobby. The room has an Android TCL TV with lots of English channels through TOT ipTV service. I also enjoyed the natural, cold morning breeze, which felt better than the already quiet, cold air conditioner in the room.

Getting around here was tough since the town is so remote and people mostly speak Thai, which made transport and communication difficult. The man running the place speaks Mandarin really well, though, and went out of his way to help us get around town. I’d give the service six stars if that were possible.

Strange place, and what you get doesn't seem worth the high price.

Mr. Prachin Nam Cham is opening Rai Por Piang Rabian Muang as an overnight camping site in Ban Thung Samo, Phetchabun, at the end of this year.
