At Tree Resort

The morning sea of clouds was unforgettable, with a stunning view, and the stay itself was comfortable with good service. There was a celebration somewhere in town while I was there, with very loud singing and dance music. The room didn’t block the sound well, so I had trouble falling asleep, though I guess the hotel wasn’t entirely to blame.

The view from the bed in the rooms we booked was breathtaking, and there’s a nice park in the middle that’s good for kids and photos. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the breakfast had a good selection. It was cold that morning, so we ordered jok, which was nice. I was excited to visit, but both rooms we bought for the night seemed a bit dirty and hadn’t been cleaned very well. Sadly, that took away the fifth star.

The air quality was good, and I had a nice time reading and taking in the view. The resort feels thoughtfully prepared in the details. The rooms and garden are organized, clean, bright, and tastefully done, so you can simply stay on site and relax. Breakfast starts at 7am, with several choices, including both continental and Thai-style food. You get what you pay for.

The area is cooler than the Khaokho pino latte area, and the scenery is beautiful. Our room was spacious and clean, with a nice-smelling bathroom, soap, and lotion. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice, plus American breakfast and mushroom porridge to order. We also liked the coffee with lime and the in-room dining. Their signature fried egg topped with spicy krapoa was tasty and came in a big portion. The downside was the TV, which was very old and small, with only Thai channels.
