The accommodation was lovely, clean, and peaceful. The sunrise was softly beautiful in the morning. They focus on growing Araucaria heterophylla pine trees, also known locally as Norfolk Island pine. It’s native to Norfolk Island, an Australian offshore territory in the Pacific between New Zealand and New Caledonia.

The view was amazing, and the room was great. The staff were lovely and the service was excellent.

The owner was kind and friendly, and the place itself was beautiful with a great atmosphere. We spent last night camping in a tent, which was really relaxing. The rooms were full, so we fell asleep listening to the wind and thought it was raining. It felt refreshing this morning, at 17°C, already nice and chilly!

The views are lovely, and there’s a local agricultural market near the entrance. It’s also handy for getting to several attractions. The resort is only open at certain times of year. The atmosphere is friendly and the food is delicious, though service can be a little slow.

The bungalows had small beds and short blankets, and both water and electricity were unreliable. Breakfast was sparse and took a long time to prepare. The entrance was awful, and the parking area was badly maintained. There were very few guests. Take this as a warning: don’t go.
