We found the resort clean and comfortable, and the room matched the pictures. There were enough power sockets to charge several things at once. Breakfast was listed as starting at 07.30, but we could eat before 07.00 after watching the sunrise from the viewpoint above the rooms. Beer was only 40 baht a can. One thing to watch: Agoda’s directions are wrong, so check the pin on Google Maps.

Set among trees on the mountain, the location is pleasant, though it’s a fair way from the highway. The staff were very cooperative. I didn’t try the food, so I can’t comment on it.

We stayed in a bungalow at this very old resort, and it didn’t feel particularly safe. There weren’t enough staff around. It was cheap, though, so I can’t complain too much.

This place has the potential to be a great stay, but it’s poorly managed and badly run. I won’t be coming back.

The place wasn’t maintained well, and even basic toiletries were missing.
