Please read this. We booked four fan rooms at Chompoo House for 4,000 baht each. We knew they had no air conditioning and accepted that when booking. But when we arrived, the fan in room four didn’t work. We called the owner and were told to wait. After nearly an hour, we went to the counter and were told it still wasn’t ready. It was check-in time, so we asked why there were problems with the rooms. Someone eventually brought a fan. Then, while washing our hands at the sink, we saw water leaking out of rooms four and two. The owner suggested we might have showered too long, but we insisted we’d only washed our hands. After more discussion, we asked for a refund because we weren’t satisfied. The lock on room three’s door was broken, as was the bathroom door lock in room one. We asked for a full refund, but the owner would only offer half, 2,000 baht. They said the problems weren’t their fault and asked whether we, the guests, were to blame for wanting a New Year’s trip and running into these issues.

The weather was great when I stayed in January, and the price was very good. The owner and staff were helpful and showed me to my room. Water pressure was strong. I was here for a concert and left at 3 am, so I slept in, but they kindly said I could have breakfast late. I was very impressed and will definitely come back. 🥰

The weather and view are lovely, though the bathroom is a bit small. The sink was clogged, and the bathroom light is as shown in the video. There’s no fridge, just a kettle, and they don’t provide coffee. Bring your own if you want to enjoy a cup with the view. Otherwise, they sell coffee packets for 20 baht each.

The patio out front is a nice spot to sit and unwind, and the gardens are full of flowers. We stayed after New Year's and found the rooms very clean, with 360-degree views and lovely weather. It was even very cold, down to 14°C. The food was delicious too. I'd definitely stay here again when I want a relaxing break.

We visited on January 4th, 2026: it was 26°C during the day and 13°C at night. The hillside setting has a million-dollar view, even though room prices start at just a few hundred baht. The rooms were clean and dust-free, with strong water pressure and hot water. Food was delicious, the weather was cool, and the pick-up and drop-off service was excellent. There are cats around to play with too. Winter seems like the best time to visit.
