Sirine Onsen

The valley view is lovely in the morning, with low clouds hanging below you. But for 5100THB, the rooms being incredibly dirty was unacceptable. The family next door arrived at 23:00 and had a very loud pool party, with two small children and parents drinking alcohol. Staff didn't seem to care, and there appeared to be no rules at all. I can't recommend it.

We were hoping for a quiet weekend together, but it turned into the opposite. Between 1 and 2 am, a group on motorbikes showed up after apparently being turned away from another hotel for being too noisy. There were loud conversations, engines starting and revving, and car alarms going off. The room and bathroom were dirty and smelly, and everything was wet when we checked in. It would also help to know in advance that there's no restaurant at the hotel. In low season, finding an open place to eat is difficult. Based on this stay, I wouldn't recommend it.

A stunning, peaceful place surrounded by nature, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Unit S4 has a bit more privacy around the Jacuzzi, so ask for that one. As a farang, my only suggestion would be to upgrade the TVs so non-Thai speakers can sign in to Netflix, Prime, or another subscription service. That didn't take away from the beauty of the place, though. I'm sure we'll come back sometime.

The view and jacuzzi are good, but I wouldn't recommend staying here because of the location and service. It's far from any shop, and the hotel doesn't sell food apart from mookata. The service was really poor. We had to ask for everything, even though we were told it would be provided each day, and housekeeping only came if we requested it. The doormat outside our room was quite dirty, and the place was still being renovated.
