We had such a nice, unstressful stay. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the hosts were really kind and helpful. They even helped us find a rental.

That lychee ice cream was the best I’ve ever had. We also had a beautiful kayaking trip, and the host was so nice and helped us a lot. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend this place. 🌟🌟🌟

There are a few restaurants in the village, and you can rent kayaks. For a livelier day at Ao Nang Beach, it’s about a half-hour ride by rented motorbike. The area itself is peaceful and good for a quiet holiday. The main downside was the online service. The owner handles those messages too, and replies often took a long time or didn’t come at all.

The grounds are generally tidy and well kept, and the bungalows are near a genuinely nice pool. The hosts were friendly and arranged our airport transfer, the trip to the ferry, and a scooter for us. The scooter wasn’t cheap, though there isn’t much choice in this area. Breakfast is worth recommending. We also saw monkeys at the pool in the early afternoon, which was a nice change since there isn’t a lot to do nearby. The pool shower was out of order the whole time, and there were only four loungers. There are also some dangerous places to trip in front of the standard bungalows, where the grounds look less cared for. We stayed in a standard bungalow, and ours had a moldy smell in the bedroom. The mattress, pillows, comforter, and sofa smelled moldy too. The mattress was old enough that I could feel every spring, and it was stained and yellow. We only saw part of it when the sheet slipped, and that was enough. The fridge and air conditioning were both available and worked, but they were very loud. The private bathroom flooded across the room after a shower, and the small drain was on the far side, away from the shower. It took hours to dry. If you needed the toilet in the meantime, your feet were in water, which was unpleasant. We know European standards can’t be expected here, and we didn’t expect them. The accommodation was okay overall, but we wouldn’t book it again.
