Sangsawang Resort

It’s a lovely budget place to unwind while doing a loop, especially after a day of exploring. The garden is gorgeous and full of greenery, and the whole resort feels peaceful. The staff are super friendly, and the price is very reasonable. I also appreciated the strong water pressure and hot water. It’s only about a 10-minute bike ride from the city centre.

The owner went out of her way to get our forgotten laptop and hat back to us. She contacted us through Booking and sent everything by express post to the other side of the country. Thank you again 🙏🏼 We found the houses spotless, the beds comfortable, and the garden beautifully cared for. The hot water and water pressure were good, and it’s quiet without being too far from the city.

After a long day riding the twisty roads in this beautiful part of Thailand, this was a peaceful place to rest and recharge. My bungalow was comfortable and clean, in a very quiet setting. The host was friendly and helpful even though I arrived fairly late. The only issue was the shower, where the water pump was pretty weak. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We loved the beautiful setting, especially since we were the only guests during our stay. The manager, who doesn’t speak English, tends the garden every day. Families travelling to maeng hong son should consider staying here. You’ll need to find your own food in town, unfortunately, but we really enjoyed our time and would recommend it.
