Krabi Villa Phu Khao Private Resort

The views were stunning, especially at sunrise, and the place itself was beautiful. Peter and Lek were wonderful hosts from the moment we arrived until we left, and all the staff were attentive. Breakfast was a lovely touch, with fresh fruit, pastries, and a choice of Thai, English, or American dishes. The stay felt special, and we were sad to go. Thank you so much for everything ❤️

The scenery is gorgeous, and the room, pool, and food were all fantastic. We spent three weeks in Thailand, and the food here was easily the best. The beach is about a mile and a half away on foot, so we definitely got some exercise. If there were a higher score, I’d give them 100+ stars. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

The rooms were comfortable, with good air conditioning, smart TVs, and fast internet. I worked from here for five days and had Zoom calls with Europe without any trouble, so it’d suit digital nomads too. The setting is quiet and relaxing, with magnificent views from above, ideal if you want to get away from busy, loud places. It isn’t a party spot. Beaches and restaurants are a 5-10 minute drive or scooter ride. We rented a scooter for 300 baht a day, which was really convenient. Peter and Lek are incredible hosts who look after you and answer all your questions. Peter arranged a scooter for us in under 30 minutes, and Lek cooks Thai food better than any restaurant in the area. They’re both positive, charismatic, and energetic, and you get hooked on their vibe. This villa feels like a home away from home, a hidden gem among Krabi’s holiday resorts. Stop looking and book it. Lek’s cooking was the highlight for me. I’ve eaten at different places around Krabi, but her homemade food is top level, like art. The hosts make sure you’re comfortable from arrival to departure, and they’ll arrange a car, massage, or laundry before you’ve even finished asking. The views are spectacular, and even when the place is fully booked it doesn’t feel crowded. There’s an elephant sanctuary opposite, so sometimes you can see and hear elephants from the terrace. This isn’t another chain hotel, it’s a place with soul.
