Hop Inn Khon Kaen Mittraphap Road (SHA Extra Plus)

The one drawback was a moldy smell in the room, even though it was otherwise sparkling clean. Still, this is a great stop if you're driving through Khon Kaen. The hotel sits on the main road connecting much of Isan, and you don't have to hunt around town. Most Hop Inns I've stayed at are out on car-dependent outskirts, and this one is too, but it's right next to mcdonalds, uniqlo, starbucks, and suki teenoi. PTT gas station, makro, and 7-eleven are a short walk away, so you can arrive after a long drive, grab food nearby, and head back to rest. One of the most convenient Hop Inn locations I've stayed at.

It's a simple, basic, no-frills place at a low price, and it does what it's meant to do. The rooms have a TV and mini fridge, the AC works, and the internet is fast enough for video calls.

The beds are very comfortable compared with other hotels, and the price is affordable. Staff were friendly and helpful too. It's right by the main road, so there's no need to venture into the city. Thanks, see you next time.

The room was clean and up to HopInn standard, but music from the restaurant next door was extremely loud and went on until 2am. It was a nightmare trying to sleep. I wouldn't stay here again unless the problem is fixed.
