It’s an in-town room, not really a resort, but there’s a nice big lake nearby. There was no problem with food even without breakfast or a canteen on offer.

The service was very good, but I had a problem during checkout. The housekeeper checked the room while we were getting our deposit back, and everything seemed fine. Then, while my mother was still on the bed watching TV, she pulled the blanket away and started clearing the room before we had left. Is that normal? At other hotels I’ve stayed at, they wait until I leave before checking out.

I booked through Agoda with the wrong dates, canceled, and asked Agoda for a refund. Agoda spoke with the hotel, but the hotel wouldn’t refund the money or change the booking dates. They may be within their rights, but it felt like they were dodging the issue and putting all the blame on Agoda. Terrible service.

I got the dates wrong when booking through Agoda and asked Agoda for a refund. Agoda contacted the hotel, but they wouldn’t refund me or change the dates. In this situation, I think the hotel should at least offer a partial refund or let me change the booking.
