Thorfan Resort

For us, everything was great and there was nothing to complain about. We can't say what negative things other people might have to say, but our experience was perfect.

I made the Agoda booking so my friend could shower before a wedding at Camp Sri. They insisted on charging for an overnight room even though we only needed a shower and a little rest, but okay. There was also a 100 baht key deposit. The shower took less than half an hour. I couldn't sleep that night, and when I returned the next morning to shower, the maid had already cleaned and opened the door to go in. I was left wondering whether our belongings would have been safe if we'd left valuables behind.

The room was okay, and parking was convenient. The owner was kind, but the service wasn't very good, especially for longer stays. The skinny housekeeper complained about guests all the time and acted like the owner. The owner should train the staff.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and you could ask for an extra mattress. Parking was easy, and the staff were cheerful, friendly, and lovely. But the air conditioning was weak, partly because the bathroom door wouldn't close properly. The blankets were practically useless, thin like rags and about the size of a tablecloth! I brought my own blanket but didn't use it anyway, since the air conditioning was so weak. Ugh! 5555
