The food was absolutely delicious when we stopped in, and there’s a lovely pool too.

The staff were nice and accommodating, and I liked the location being far from everything. The property has a lot going for it, but it needs a cleanup. Tools, garbage and other junk were scattered around, and the little furniture there was felt cheap and worn out. The bathroom smelled awful of sewer, the water came out yellowish, and mosquitoes made it their own little haven, so using the restroom was stressful. There’s one tiny shared fridge rather than one in each room. It’s a great property, so don’t let it go to waste.

There was a sharp, horrible sewer odor from the toilet, and the toilet seat had black mold stains, as shown in my photo. My room was advertised as a "room in villa", which felt hugely deceptive and exaggerated. It was a bungalow, with no TV, fridge in the room, water kettle or condiments. There was one fridge outside to share. Budget travelers might find some value, but nobody should expect a bargain at $20 a night.

We had a lovely sea view, and the service was great. The beer was ice cold, and the spring rolls we ordered were delicious.
