The room was clean and had the basic comforts we needed during our stop on the way to Chiang Rai. I wasn't comfortable with the bathroom setup. There's no separate shower area, so the whole room gets wet and takes ages to dry. I respect cultural differences, but it didn't work for me. The receptionist also burped while I was talking with him, which felt uncomfortable and rude to me, even if that may be acceptable in some cultures. Staff weren't especially friendly, and breakfast was basic.

At 500 Bhat a night, it felt like good value. The market is right next door, so picking up food and fruit to eat at the hotel is easy. Ping was great, number one, and speaks excellent English.
