I expected a basic two-star stay, but the bathroom was too much for me. There was a huge cockroach in there, like it had been living and eating there for years. I went straight to tell the staff and ask for help. They first said they’d spray it with Baygon, then came back a few minutes later to say they had no spray and couldn’t do anything. I was too scared to go back into the bathroom, so I skipped my shower. Think twice before booking if giant insects and no solution from the staff would bother you.

It may have had positive reviews years ago, but these days the place is run-down and dilapidated. The property badly needs repairs, and walking around could be hazardous. They’re still open, which is absolutely disgraceful.

The seaside setting is nice, and there’s a small beach, but nobody seems to look after it. The service was poor, the place wasn’t very clean, the bedsheets were dirty, and the towels had holes. Staff seemed angry all the time and never smiled, which made us feel unwelcome. Over four days, they changed the towels and sheets just once. We got a single tiny bottle of soap and shampoo for the whole stay.

The staff member was so kind and helpful that I’d give her 10/5. The room had a clean, homey feel, with nice house-style decor. It’s on the island’s left side from the ferry, which feels quite local, and I’d recommend it if you want a peaceful atmosphere. We stayed the night after heavy rain. Some rooms may have had electricity trouble, and our AC wasn’t working properly, so we had to switch rooms three times. The hotel still needs major renovation.
