The staff were nice and tried to help, even offering discounts and a free massage, but we wanted a relaxing holiday, not bargains. The massage was noisy too, by the pool with children around and an air conditioner behind my head. The hotel itself felt dirty and loud, nothing like a calm, refreshing break. There were few beach sunbeds, and people went out before breakfast to reserve them with towels, so we often had none and sometimes went to another beach. There were lots of children, but no playground or other place for them to play. They made a mess in the pool, and neither parents nor staff seemed to care that other guests were trying to relax. The sheets and towels were old and dirty, including blood stains on our sheet. Changing one dirty set for another didn’t solve the problem. We paid 700 eur for 7 nights, but to me the stay was worth 200 eur at most. This didn’t feel like a boutique hotel, just a typical resort sold at a discount by a cheap travel agent. Don’t be fooled by the exterior and interior visualization pictures. They know why they don’t use real photos.

Our room was clean, a good size, and had a balcony, which was a nice extra. The hotel is right by the sea, and we found the stay very enjoyable. There were enough pool loungers that we never worried about getting one, and the staff and reception were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but enough for a few days. We had a comfortable, pleasant stay.

The dark, long corridors were my main issue. They felt unwelcoming and carried the noise whenever people walked through, which happened often. The resort was otherwise nice, with the beach right there, decent breakfasts for up to about five days, and okay cocktails. It’s very child friendly, which is great for families but less so if you don’t have kids. All in all, it was okay.

Coming back here after our honeymoon a few years ago was a good decision. The rooms were nice, the staff attentive and friendly, and there was a good range of quality food and drinks. The location is brilliant, with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Thanks to everyone at Vayna, we had a great stay.

The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean, and the rooms decent overall. It’s a great spot right on the beach. My main gripe was the lack of a proper fridge: the minibar was small and didn’t stay very cold. Front desk and housekeeping were good, while breakfast and the restaurant were only average.
