The food was fresh, generous when we asked, and available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We especially appreciated the beach towels and rug, the clear instructions, and how kind and helpful the staff were. The room was spacious and pleasant, cleaned and tidied each day, and the grounds were cared for too. It’s just a two minute walk from the nearby Sunaya resort beach. Other beaches are 10-15 minutes away by motorbike, which you can rent there. We stayed five nights and could easily have stayed five more. This was our best stay in Thailand, with the best value for money. It felt comforting, almost like a holiday at our grandparents’ place. I can’t recommend it more, book ahead and enjoy your time here. Thanks for everything.

We spent four nights in the cottage and really liked the room, the atmosphere, and the friendly staff. Most of all, the food they served was delicious. We’d love to stay here again when we come back. Even if you’re not staying here, you should try lunch or dinner!

I loved the outdoor bath, and the breakfast, food, and cocktails were the best on the island for me. I had Piña Coladas in several places around Koh Kood, but Baan Bua’s was the one I remember: fresh, smooth, balanced, and not too sweet. We stayed three nights, and this was by far the calmest of the three places we tried. The cottage is clean and peaceful, with that quiet, natural Koh Kood feel. The service was attentive and warm without being intrusive. The food and the room both felt made with love. If you’re after a romantic cottage, a relaxing beach hotel, or simply good food and drinks, I’d put this place at the top of the list. We loved it here and I’ll definitely come back.

The breakfast is a 10 out of 10, and you have to try the noodle soup. This is such a cozy place that feels like home right away, with fantastic management. It’s right by a small bay and quiet at night, a perfect place for a Koh Kood holiday.
