The ocean was lovely, and the cottages were basic but good enough. Still, after five nights at Pa Hin Sai, I felt the place was overpriced compared with similar resorts on the island, and too basic to really call a resort. Cleaning was the biggest problem: rooms aren't cleaned automatically, and even after asking, they still didn't clean ours. The staff's English wasn't very good either.

The resort could use some care, and the manager's “I don't care” attitude needs to change. We booked a twin bed on Agoda, but it wasn't provided and nobody cared to find a solution. When we checked out, they also didn't help arrange a taxi. For the same price, you can find better value nearby. The manager needs to improve at customer service. Maybe the owner will read this and take action. Until then, I'd recommend staying elsewhere.

At $25 US, this is the cheapest accommodation you can find on the beach on Koh Kood, and the location is excellent. The rooms were a bit tired, and the bathroom could use a deep clean, but they were fine for that price. Mosquitoes still got in through the screened windows, so we had to hang our own bug net. The food was good and reasonably priced.

I enjoyed my stay. It's a very nice and very cheap place with a great view, though a little out of the way and downhill. The room has no AC, but the sea breeze keeps it cool. The hotel beach is covered in garbage, which keeps the place from being perfect.

The rooms are large for the price, and the people running the place are really nice. The beach has lots of rocks and coral, and unfortunately quite a bit of trash washes ashore from the ocean. Service was great.
