Arthaya Villas

Arthaya is about a 30-minute walk from both Klong Khong and Long Beach, which suited us since we didn't want to rent a car. We like Klong Khong for its local feel, and Phra Ae/Long Beach for its white sand and restaurants. I've stayed with Ya several times, and her hospitality is always top notch. The hotel is clean and she takes good care of guests. This trip we needed rides around the island, so she recommended her brother. He drove us everywhere and even picked us up late at night from different parts of the island. I'd definitely stay again. Love the hotel and pool.

The villas have plenty of space and are well equipped, and they're cleaned regularly to a very high standard. There's a good-sized pool on site and an excellent cafe serving Thai and western food. The owner and staff are kind, friendly, and helpful. For a stay on Koh Lanta, this is the place I'd choose.

The rooms had loads of space, and being able to cook for ourselves was great. The pool was very well looked after, and the food was good value and worth getting. We stayed four nights, and the host and staff were helpful and always smiling. It's an especially good choice for families, with easy tuk tuk rides to other areas. I'd stay again, and it's worth emailing before you book to ask if they have any deals.

We loved relaxing in the pool among all the greenery and flowers inside the hotel. The owner was great and helped us find taxis for traveling around the island. Our villa was also close to a beach, halal restaurants, and convenience stores. A fun surprise was seeing monkeys outside eating fruit, along with a cute black-and-white stray cat rolling in the sun. Highly recommended!
