Baan Check In

We rented three huts for a week. The rooms were clean, and you could request cleaning. Each morning before 8, the women cleaned the bathrooms, showers, and area around the huts. It could be noisy if you wanted to sleep in. The biggest issue was rats visiting one hut repeatedly. They opened sealed plastic bags and ate our food several times, so keep food locked in a suitcase. Noise was also a problem at night: you could hear people in other huts move or talk, and traffic on the nearby road was loud. Bike rental, taxis, and laundry were a bit pricier than the usual rate, so we didn’t book those through them. There isn’t much to do nearby, and the local beach wasn’t as nice as others, with lots of rocks and broken coral and not very clean. You’ll need motorbikes to get around. It’s okay for a night or two as a starting point, then I’d look for somewhere better.

The owner was really friendly and helpful, and we had a great four-day stay.

We spent four nights here and everything went smoothly. Our bungalow was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we rented a motorcycle from them too. It’s a lovely family-run place, and they were very helpful. I’d happily recommend it.

I stayed in a basic bungalow, and everything was very clean, including the toilet, sheets, and towel. The room also had a water heater, glasses, tea, and coffee. It’s in a good spot by the main road without being too exposed, close to 7eleven. They can help arrange trips, laundry, and bike rental. Good value for money.
