We liked it so much that we extended our stay twice. The owners were very nice, and the location worked well for us. Relax Bay Beach is just a three-minute walk away, with good swimming, lovely sunsets, and plenty of places to eat along the beach. There are more good restaurants on the main road and at the hotel too. Our spacious room came with a fridge, air conditioning, and a seating area, and it cost less than comparable places nearby. Best of all for us, Lanta Animal Welfare center was only a seven-minute walk away, so we could walk the dogs and visit the cats.

There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance towards Phra Ae, and Relax Beach is only two minutes away. The cottage was huge and comfortable, with terraces at both the front and back and a separate kitchenette. We found it reasonably priced for the room and location. Get an A/C room, though. We spent our first two nights without one and it was really hot and sticky.

The owner was kind and tried to help. It was clean and not far from the beach. If you don't mind being woken by the mosque, it's quite ideal.

Good service from the staff, and the bungalow was nice, about 30 metres from the beach. The family bungalow cost 1200.
