Twin Lotus Resort and Spa

Michelle and the team made my partner’s and my birthdays feel special, even helping arrange flowers and a cake delivery from the mainland. The service was top tier from the start, and the gardens were beautiful and so well kept. Breakfast was great every day. The place is a little dated, but the value and service made the stay amazing. We were very comfortable at Twin Lotus Resort. The Deluxe Bungalows Beach/Sea & Gardenview are beautifully positioned, with private terraces where you can relax. There are also two sections with cheaper superior rooms, plus a private area near the road. Everyone on staff, including the manager, was incredibly friendly. Breakfast was excellent, with a “refrigerator area,” and you can eat while looking out at the sea. The natural beach is beautiful and there are plenty of sunbeds, though lots of guests reserve them, which I don’t understand. It’s a quiet location, with plenty of local bars and restaurants for the evening. We highly recommend it.

The kindness of the staff is what we’ll remember most. Every interaction felt sincere and caring, and we left already thinking about coming back. Michelle and her team welcomed us with warm smiles and a lovely tea, and even arranged a thoughtful anniversary setup in our beautiful room. Michelle also upgraded us to a suite, making our first trip to Thailand unforgettable. The sea views are unreal, especially from the infinity pool. We enjoyed swimming and the yoga sessions, held by the ocean or on land when it was extra warm. There’s a fully equipped gym too. Breakfast was the best buffet we’ve ever had, with loads of variety, lovely presentation, and excellent gluten-free choices, including bread and pastries. Highly, highly recommend Twin Lotus Resort in Koh Lanta.

Our beachside villa at Twin Lotus had a huge deck with a table and sun loungers, and the staff were always helpful. We enjoyed the food too. The beach is quieter than Koh Lanta’s other major beaches, which we appreciated, even though it isn’t the prettiest. If we’re back in Koh Lanta, we’d definitely consider staying at Twin Lotus again.
