Cashewnut Tree Resort

Sara and Matteo made our stay so easy. They were kind, attentive, and always around to help with logistics, recommendations, diving, private tours, and rides. The garden at Cashewnut Resort in Koh Lanta is beautiful, and seeing calm monkeys and huge monitor lizards wandering freely through the greenery was magical. It felt like a peaceful retreat in nature. We had a wonderful stay and can’t recommend it enough. Thank you!

We liked how quiet and clean the place was, and the air conditioning worked well. Housekeeping came daily and left fresh water, which was great. The owners were genuinely friendly and helpful, with good food and drink suggestions, and you could book island trips and other activities through them. The monkeys nearby were fun to watch, and the transfer to and from the hotel was fairly priced. The beds felt a little too firm for us, though that’s personal preference. Also, the shower head leaked and the water pressure was quite weak, much like at many places we stayed in Thailand.

A 7-Eleven, the beach, and several good restaurants are all a short walk away, while the bungalows still feel tucked away and private. We had a peaceful, comfortable stay at Cashewnut Tree Bungalows, surrounded by nature and kept beautifully. The hosts were kind and helpful, arranging transfers and two-wheelers at more competitive, much cheaper prices than elsewhere. Our room was cleaned each day, which made everything easy. It was a fuss-free visit, and we’d recommend the place to anyone coming to the area.

We planned on a short stay but loved the bungalow and the place so much that we kept extending, eventually staying 3.5 weeks. You can walk to everything you need in about five minutes, and the island’s nicest beach is only a 4-5 minute stroll away. For us, it’s the perfect spot on the island. The owners and staff were super friendly and helped with everything. We had an amazing time, thanks so much. See you again soon! :)
