Hotel Dreamy Casa

The room was really good and clean, but the reception lady’s behaviour ruined the stay. At check-in there was some broken glass on our balcony. It wasn’t clean, and we were busy travelling, so we didn’t open the balcony. At checkout, the lady rudely accused us of breaking a glass ashtray. We didn’t even know it was an ashtray, and we told her that none of us smoke or drink. All six of us are yoga teachers and spiritual practitioners. It felt like she was trying to get money from us because she hadn’t managed to get it from the previous customer. She brought out a completely new cigarette and said they’d found it in our room. We had left no used cigarettes there, and if we’d smoked, she could have shown us a used one. Her intention seemed clear to me, she was trying to scam us for money. She made a huge scene, insulted us rudely, and even used bad words. I told her to take the money, because we know in our hearts we didn’t do it. She’ll get it back someday in her life, anyway. Be aware of this kind of scam and take a full video before entering. They could accuse you over any small thing.
