L1 Lanta Resort

I slept so well here, the bed was incredibly comfortable. Everything was really clean, and there’s a nice minibar plus a coffee stand with free cookies. Breakfast was delicious too. The location is great, with everything nearby, and the route to the beach passes Bee Bee bar. The sunset view from the bungalow there is amazing. Loved it, highly recommend!

There weren’t many reviews of L1 Lanta when we booked a few months ago, so we went in without much expectation. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful, clean and spacious domes and the huge bathrooms. The beach is just a 1-2 minute walk away, with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. It also felt extremely safe, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It can get noisy when it’s windy or raining, but otherwise everything was good.

We stayed for over two weeks and never found ourselves needing anything. The dome room was comfortable, had AC, and matched the description and photos. We also liked having a little private porch with a table and camping chairs. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The beach is about three minutes away, and there’s plenty of good food nearby. We especially recommend My Friend for breakfast and Paul’s for dinner. Wi-Fi was a little slow at times, but we had mobile data, so it wasn’t much of an issue. L1 Lanta was awesome, and we’d definitely return.

The dome was such a lovely surprise, decorated with balloons and birthday signs when I arrived. It’s spacious, laid out really well, and has its own bathroom. There was everything I needed inside, including mini bar items in the freezer. The cookies were delicious, and the Milo chocolate drink was lovely with milk. I felt completely safe here on my own, and the beach and excellent restaurants are an easy walk away. The ladies at the resort were always welcoming, and Dutch helped me from day one with all my questions, scooter hire, and transfers. I loved staying at Lanta L1 Resort and didn’t want to leave. I’ll definitely be back. Thanks again!
