Lanta Chaolay Hostel

I stayed in the shared hostel room and it was perfect. They gave me a towel and water for free, and the receptionist was super nice. She helped arrange getting the things I'd forgotten in Krabi for a local price, rented me a scooter, and recommended the best massage place ever. I would have stayed longer if I wasn't heading to phi phi next.

A very good little hotel near the pier, especially handy if you're transferring between islands. It's clean and has a modern feel, with good lighting. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bed was very comfortable.

This hostel is new and clean, and the staff were helpful. It's close to the harbour. There's no breakfast, but some nice, affordable restaurants are next door.

We were a group of 11 and stayed for three days and two nights. The owner was super kind and looked after us well, and the place was comfortable. Rooms were clean, with fresh bedding and all the essentials, including shower gel, shampoo, a hairdryer, and a water heater. The location is really convenient, about a 1-2 minute walk, roughly 100-200 meters, from the pier, and around 300-400 meters from Lanta Market, less than a 10 minute walk. There's a nice restaurant across the road. They offer laundry and motorcycle rentals for 300 baht a day. Staff can also arrange a day trip, with pickup in front of the hotel to take you to the pier. The rooftop is a relaxing place to sit and chill. A lovely stay, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, convenient spot.
