Lanta Coral Beach Resort

The beachside location was amazing, and the bungalow stayed cozy and spotless with daily cleaning. Everyone was so friendly, and we could order things straight to the resort or rent a motorbike for a fair price. They even offer massages right at your door. The food was delicious too. Everything worked out perfectly, and I’d definitely return.

The staff made the biggest difference for me. They were so friendly and helpful that I felt at home, and I’d love to come back if I get the chance. I originally booked one month and ended up staying almost two. My bungalow was practically on the beach, with lovely sunsets from the restaurant, good food, and quiet, spacious nature around. It was also within walking distance of the international meditation center, and the value for the island was great.

The food at the resort was so good that we didn’t need the shops and restaurants nearby. We stayed for a long week at the end of low season, and the spot was ideal: just outside the village, with the beach to ourselves, while the shops were only five minutes away by scooter. Service was great, the rooms could be cleaned daily if you wanted, and the host was happy to help with questions or island trips.

The staff were warm and helped sort out our transport, and we could refill our water for free at reception. Breakfast had the usual menu choices, like eggs with ham and toast, pancakes, cereal, and some really good fresh fruit. Our room was simple but fine, and the only insect we saw was a gecko we called Agathe. She was chatty, but otherwise kept to herself. We enjoyed relaxing on the lovely private beach, which seemed to be just for hotel guests, and the bar was nice too. We stayed three nights and had a pleasant time.
