Lanta Emerald Bungalow

The beach is less than a minute away, and the hotel restaurant and bar sit right there, so it was easy to pop over for a drink or a snack. There’s a good menu, from breakfast through cocktails. We first booked three days at Lanta Emerald bungalow, but the friendly reception team made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and helped carry our bags to a room just a few steps from the pool. The room was fine, with comfortable beds and good air conditioning. When one of our group couldn’t make it to Lanta elephants, the main guy, whose name I’m sorry I didn’t get, quickly rearranged it for the next day and got us another night in the same room. He also sorted the trip to don sak pier, including the journey from koh Lanta and a stop at the emerald pool in krabi, which made everything easy. The ladies were lovely too. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

It was an ideal place for a slow holiday with my parents and my two kids, who were 3 years old and 6 months old. We chose taxis to see the island, and the owner arranged them for us, though scooters are available to rent. Everyone was genuinely kind and professional. The clean, quiet bungalows, tasty restaurant food, lovely beach, and relaxed atmosphere made this the best beach holiday I’ve had. I really hope we can return soon.

A clean place in a beautiful location, and good value for the money. It feels very family oriented, and everyone was friendly. They even let you take their bike to run to the pharmacy. The bar and restaurant are nice too, right on the beach.

We stayed for 7 days and didn’t regret a single one. Everything was clean and well organized, with a nice beach and great facilities within walking distance. The people were friendly and always ready to help. I’d absolutely recommend the place.
