Baan Suan Rim Klong

The rooms are really good, and the service is lovely. There’s a fridge and a TV with a Fire Stick. I haven’t tried the bed yet. The shower isn’t hot, though it’s not cold either, more on the warm side. The food was okay, just not wow. Scooter rental is 250 baht for a day, or 400 for two days if you negotiate. Laundry costs 60 baht per kilo.

The receptionist was easily the highlight, one of the kindest people I’ve met, always helpful and funny. You can also book affordable tours and ferries to other islands at reception. The cottages are spotless and finished to a high standard, and the whole place has a lovely feel. There’s a pool for cooling off, plus new scooters for rent at 250 baht. A 2-3-minute walk either way gets you to good restaurants and a 7/11 with an ATM. We used the scooter to explore the beaches toward Bambo Beach.

We had a fantastic breakfast and a lovely two-night stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the quiet pool was a nice spot to relax. Flowers and ponds around the property made it feel lovely.

The staff were so helpful, and both the pool and cafe were great value with really tasty food. The mulberry smoothie stood out, made with berries grown about 100 feet from the restaurant. Make sure you try one! 😋 Rooms are clean, tidy, spacious, and great for the price. The beach, Relax Bay, is just across the road through the school, no more than a five-minute walk. It’s quiet at night, while restaurants are about 10-20 minutes away on foot. Some of the best bars are at Relax Bay.
