Lanta Infinity Resort

The property is beautiful and could be wonderful, but our room change turned into a really disappointing experience. We started in an upper bungalow and felt comfortable. When they suggested moving rooms, I agreed in good faith, expecting something equal or better. Instead we got a lower category room in poor shape, with a damp, mouldy smell, dirty walls, windows that wouldn’t close properly, gecko droppings even on the cutlery, and hair and old spilled liquid in the fridge. Despite several requests, it was never properly cleaned. They even asked us to switch rooms at 7:30 PM with a small child, which was completely unreasonable. The pool also seemed poorly maintained and made our skin itch after 10-15 minutes. After we raised the problems, the friendly attitude changed and support disappeared. We were suddenly charged 150 THB for a two-minute ride. It felt like we’d been moved out of the better room so it could be rented to someone else at a higher rate. I gave it 3 stars because of the better upstairs room, where we were welcomed without toilet paper or a kettle. It’s a real shame, since the place has potential. With cleanliness, reliability, and respectful treatment in mind, I’d book somewhere else for now.🛎️

The peaceful location was really important to us. It’s just off the main road and only a very short walk to khlong nin beach, away from the busier main-road hotels. Most beaches and places were no more than a 10 to 15 minute scooter ride away, and 7-11 is just a two-minute walk. The rooms are great, and cleanliness was taken care of consistently. Having a refrigerator and oven saved us a lot of money. The pool was clean and a good size, and they rent scooters too. I’d go for the newer bikes at 300 Bhat / day, since the older 250 thb/day ones can sometimes have issues. The people managing the resort were very nice, especially the lady in the morning and Anwar in the afternoon and at night. We’d definitely like to come back to koh lanta.

It’s a small, cozy place with a lovely pool and lots of greenery. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel felt peaceful and relaxing. The beach and main street are just a short walk away, which made the location great. A lovely spot for a quiet tropical getaway. Highly recommended !

For around 80 USD a night, our poolside room was excellent: spacious, private, with good air conditioning, a fridge, and fresh towels and water each day. The long, large pool was nice too. We stayed 4 nights. At this price, though, the hotel is reaching. Breakfast is included, but the options are limited, it isn’t a buffet, and the juice is artificial. There’s no restaurant, bar, or shared social area. The drive in from the main road feels like you’re arriving at a cheap hotel.
