Layana Resort and Spa

The Thai food was a real highlight, authentic and full of flavor, and every meal was delicious. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a peaceful, comfortable feel. The beach had soft sand and clear water, perfect for relaxing. The staff were warm, attentive, and always smiling, and the service was impeccable throughout our stay at "Layana Resort & Spa". It felt like a dream holiday, and I hope I can come back someday.

We'd love to return to Layana. The rooms were quiet, the facilities very clean, and breakfast generous and tasty. The staff looked after us so well, including with kind honeymoon gestures, and Franck and the whole Layana team helped make the trip unforgettable. The hotel is beautifully preserved and tastefully decorated, right on one of the island's best beaches with easy sea access and two good-sized pools. We also saw the best sunsets of our whole Thailand trip there.

This is a place to get away from the world's madness in comfortable luxury, not somewhere for beach bars or nightlife. Think Kawaii in Hawaii, rather than Waikiki. The resort feels small and intimate, perhaps no more than 100 guests with around 40 staff, so the personal attention is remarkable. I usually can't stand organized activities because they feel cheesy, but theirs were understated, classy, and in good taste. The food was great, the grounds immaculate, and the surroundings pristine.

We only had four days at Layana and really wished we could stay longer. The grounds were serene and beautifully cared for, and the rooms matched. Everyone was genuinely friendly and eager to help. At the pool, staff kept cold water coming and brought food and drinks when we asked. The restaurant meals were delicious; prices were higher than at other places in Thailand, but we felt they were worth it. They welcomed us warmly and had prepared our room for our anniversary with a message, a decorated bed, and a complimentary bottle of bubbly. Thanks for making the trip memorable.
