Pitt Bungalow

For what we paid, I have no complaints. The free motorbike was more than a bonus, it changed the rest of my holiday on the Thai islands. The restaurant was excellent and much cheaper than many others. There's free water and a pool table, and the beer is cheap. Towels were changed every two days. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the air-conditioned rooms and found them comfortable, even though this is the cheap and cheerful option. There are also small bamboo huts and rooms with fans. Each room comes with an old runabout scooter and helmet. The place has plenty of charm, and the owner goes out of his way to help. He's quite a character and can seem dry at first, but he's actually a lovely guy.

The owner was straightforward and really helpful, and the laundry service was great. We stayed in both the cottage and the A/C bungalow at pitt bungalow. The cottage may not suit everyone since you have to be comfortable with bugs, but we didn't mind, and it stayed pretty cool at night. The A/C bungalow was a big step up in comfort. We also really appreciated having a free motorbike.

The food looked reasonably priced and had a pretty good veggie selection, though I didn't eat there. The bamboo huts are basic and sit across the road from the beach. For the price, getting a free motorbike makes it good value. You might even get bathroom frogs thrown in for free!
