We had a good time as a family in this beautifully decorated villa. It's an easy walk to the beach, 7-Eleven and some beachside restaurants. Moti was a brilliant manager, quick to respond, helpful and attentive, checking in with us regularly. Ten stars for him. The pool is quite deep. I'm 1.75m and had to tiptoe, so bring floaties for the kids. There are two queen or king sized bedrooms downstairs, while the two upstairs are reached by steep stairs. That could be a concern with older people or young children, and the stairs seem too dangerous for small kids. You can make simple meals in the kitchen, which has plenty of utensils and basics like salt and pepper. For getting around, I'd still rent a scooter. It's less convenient here than Long Beach, where shops line the whole road. Taxis are another option for seeing more of Koh Lanta. It's a great place for big groups, friends or families across generations to share a communal space. I'd rent another villa at manao again if the stairs weren't so steep.

Moti took great care of us from the day we arrived until we left. He was respectful, thoughtful and made sure we had what we needed. The villa was modern, had everything we needed and good AC. There are a few little cafes and lovely restaurants along the beach. It rained quite a bit while we were there, which affected the pool's colour, but it was treated by the next morning and looked perfect again. We had an amazing week and would highly recommend the place. Thanks, Moti.

Just a few minutes from the beach, this is a stylish, cozy villa. There are lots of lovely bars, restaurants and other cozy spots close by. I'll definitely come back!

Mote/Moti is one of the calmest, most natural people I've met. Nothing seems too much or too little for him. These magnificent, high quality villas are in a completely safe, private estate, with a private pool and everything you'd need. You can walk to the beach, shops, restaurants and bars, and grab a taxi to explore more of Koh Lanta. After a day out, Manao is where you'll want to come back and relax. It's among the best places I've stayed anywhere in the world, maybe the best. You really can't beat Manoa :-)
