We booked two nights and liked it enough to stay ten. After years of traveling and trying lots of places, we know what makes a good stay. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds, large fridges, and lovely balconies where we could watch monkeys. Maysa, the property manager, was the highlight. She's professional, attentive, welcoming, and sweet. She handled our requests promptly and answered all our questions, making the stay feel close to five-star service. Breakfast exceeded our expectations: a huge American breakfast, and when we asked for local food, Maysa brought us a feast. The place sits around the middle of the west coast. Beaches range from a ten-minute walk to a twenty-minute motorbike ride, with beautiful spots and hidden beach bars to find. There's also a local market nearby, along with restaurants, massage, a pharmacy, and a clinic. I've never written such a long review during my travels, but this place really deserves it. One of my favorite stays during three months in Thailand. The rooms are great for the price, it's very affordable, and the service was some of the friendliest I've had. You'll need a bike here, like at most places on Koh Lanta, but it's near a nice area and almost halfway between the attractions. I'd highly recommend it.

The owner was lovely when the room door broke. She came to help and called someone to repair it, and the staff were very nice. The beach is quiet and pretty, about a 15-minute walk away. There are lots of restaurants, and I recommend HUG LANTA because the staff are amazing. There's a 7/11 and Lotus nearby too. The room was spacious, but had a strange smell. We found some oddly scented things in the cabinet, maybe insect repellent. The shower pressure was really poor but manageable, and we only had a tiny blanket to share between two people.

The kindness of the staff really stood out. I'd left a piece of clothing in the room when we checked out, and they arranged to send it to me on another island in Thailand. I'll always remember that, and I'm so grateful. The room was large, with everything we needed, and the location in the center of the island made it easy to explore. It felt like home for a few days. Every evening we looked forward to the alarm going off so we could get up for another fantastic breakfast!

The room was disgusting, and fire ants kept biting me. I asked for help. They changed the sheets at first, but then I found hairs on them too. I was meant to stay four nights, but left after just one.
