Nirvana Beach Resort

The resort and pool are lovely and calm, the restaurant sits high up with beautiful views, and we had a great relaxing massage at the spa. The beach even felt like Nirvana’s own private stretch. Our room was spacious and clean, with a nice terrace, jacuzzi, and sunset views from the bed. We booked at the last minute for five nights over New Year’s Eve 2025, and it turned out to be a great decision. All the staff gave us a warm welcome, especially the manager Pomb, who was thoughtful and kind and made the stay special. Everyone was attentive throughout. I've been visiting Lanta and Thailand for years, and I'd happily recommend this place to my friends in Phuket and Bangkok, as well as anyone else. A must visit when you're in Thailand!

The resort has a lovely atmosphere, and the property itself is beautiful and full of charm. Staff were exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We chose it hoping for peace and quiet, so the noise at night made our stay especially disappointing. The air conditioning unit in the apartment above ours was extremely loud, even with our windows shut, and the noise made it impossible to sleep. We told reception, but they couldn't offer a solution. It seemed to be limited to that particular unit, since the other apartments didn't appear to have the same issue. Some areas of the property are a little dated and could use renovation.

At 2 a.m. we finally left and booked another hotel. A rodent had got into our room in the middle of the night, and when we first told the staff, they laughed and didn't believe us. After we insisted, they came and saw it themselves. They couldn't get it out and said there was no other room, telling us to sleep in there with it. That wasn't acceptable. We've been waiting for our refund since November 2025. The manager repeats that the payment method doesn't work, despite my providing several valid banking options. I strongly don't recommend Hotel Nirvâna. The management has been dishonest and completely unprofessional.

We spent two weeks here and loved the peaceful garden, quiet nights, animals around the resort, and an awesome breakfast. The staff were very nice and helpful. Some people mention maintenance, but you're in Thailand, so don't expect too much. The price for what you get is perfect. I'd definitely recommend it for couples or anyone looking to relax.
