Serene Lanta Resort by OYO Rooms

The garden in the middle is beautiful and gives you plenty of privacy. The bungalows are lovely and well looked after, with a big bed and comfortable mattress. Water pressure is great, which can be an issue in Thailand. You can walk to a nice beach with bars, restaurants, shops, and a 7-Eleven. It’s also centrally located, so anywhere on the island is at most 25-30 minutes away by scooter. The owners are kind and supportive. You can rent a scooter from them, and they can arrange different trips and transport anywhere. Breakfast is tasty and filling, even for a 'big hungry man' 😁. After many trips to Thailand, we can say this is one of the best places we’ve stayed. Highly recommended! 👍

The family running the resort made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They were warm, kind, and ready to help with anything, and their attention and genuine care made us feel like part of the family rather than guests. The service was outstanding, the best we had on our whole trip through Thailand. This stay was a real highlight, and we’re deeply grateful for the memories. I’d book again without hesitation, and it would be an honor to welcome this lovely family to Germany one day.

The bungalows were spacious and clean, and renting a motorbike was easy. They also provided beach towels and snorkels, which was a big plus. The only small downside was the A/C: it was loud even in sleep mode. We loved breakfast each morning under the shade of the plants in the beautiful, well-kept green courtyard. Yuth and Moh were the kindest, most accommodating hosts, always smiling. I found it hard to leave Serene Lanta Resort and would stay again if I return to Koh Lanta.

The rooms were lovely, and the owners were even better, so kind and extremely helpful. It was a quiet, really nice stay, and I’d definitely recommend it. I rented a motorbike, which was a great way to see the amazing island. I’ll stay here again when I return to Koh Lanta.
